Kuwaiti Constitution ensures care for elderly, sick -- official

KUWAIT, September 07 (KUNA) -- Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Bader Fahad Al-Duwaila has affirmed that the National Constitution ensures care for the elderly, the sick and cases of special needs.
The minister, speaking at a ceremony for "the faithful son prize," held late on Tuesday, said the state support for these cases affirmed its care for all citizens, particulary the disabled.
The ministry has worked out a special plan to to increase services for the elederly, he added.
The sponsor of the award, Ibrahim Al-Baghli, praised the minister for his contributions in the social and humanitarian domains.
