The state of Kuwait began its diplomatic relations with the Republic of India with opening of a consulate in Mumbai.

1964

Full diplomatic relations, however, were initiated, when an Embassy was established in New Delhi.

1992

To further and strengthen the relations, Ministry of Information, Kuwait decided to open its full fledged Information Office in New Delhi.
